"Weekend Wind Up" is for After Work Lounging and Weekend  Chilling.  It will be cosy during the day. Smiles, drinks, delicious food, socializing, grooving,  observing, laughing, flirting, relaxing, listening and later: we have the chance to dance!   Anybody who wants to ease into a relaxing weekend is welcome. Nigur Oza runs the label HKSYSTM, is part of the Ibana USA and Izmelate projects, recently joined the international booking roster of Nightfoundation Agency, is resident DJ at Art Hotel 12, and also works on graphics and video cuts. In May, he’ll be releasing his new EPs Simple Works 2 and Whiskeytech on Spagat Music and HKSYSTM.

The genre is often seen as a successor to acid jazz, as it evolved from similar influences. While acid jazz doesn’t necessarily have to be linked to electronic music, nu jazz is generally considered a branch of electronic music. What both genres share is their catchiness and musical sophistication. However, nu jazz shows significantly more overlap with other styles.

In many discotheques and especially in techno clubs, there are so-called chill-zones in which exhausted dancers can relax, often accompanied by chill-out music, dub music, lounge music or also calm Minimal Techno. The term "Chill Out" was firstly introduced in 1990 for their album "Chill Out" in the scene the group The KLF. More generally, the ending of an event or an evening is designated "chill out".

Starting in 1986, percussive house tracks with soulful vocal elements were produced in Chicago. This gave deep house its distinctive character, especially with its jazzy, vocal-heavy arrangements, setting it apart from the then-popular New York garage house. Deep house runs at a tempo comparable to disco. The spectrum of current tracks is broad – ranging from soul and jazz influences to tech house – all at a moderate pace. In the early ’90s, a disco-inspired form of deep house emerged, later referred to as disco house or, eventually, nu disco.

Down-tempo house is too slow to dance to – but far too beautiful to sit still. Atmospheric, warm melodies and tonal collages meet slow, steady electronic beats. Blended with lounge, disco, and a touch of pop, this is the perfect soundtrack to enjoy our panoramic view. You are warmly welcome…

Trip-hop is a music trend that experienced a brief hype in the early 2010s. Originating from Vienna and London, the style spread across the globe. To this day, it has built a niche scene often interpreted as lounge music – a kind of instrumental hip-hop infused with elements of jazz, blues, and pop.
