Real Estate Mediation – Selective, Discreet, Authentic

Occasional, commission-based real estate mediation has become a surprisingly rewarding and personal part of my network work. Before the pandemic, I had the privilege of successfully facilitating several large-scale transactions — both in Germany and internationally. I don’t actively seek such opportunities but am occasionally approached by trusted contacts and property owners to discreetly share certain projects within my global network. Domestically, this typically involves development land, logistics centers, or commercial spaces. Internationally, I may handle unique hotel projects or major sales opportunities.

Let me be clear: I do not consider myself a traditional real estate agent, nor do I see myself as competition to licensed agencies or academically trained professionals. My experience is rooted in real-world learning, past mistakes, and a deeply human approach. Coming from a Berlin-based family with a long history of landownership, I’ve had early and lasting exposure to the dynamics between owners, investors, and real estate professionals. This gives me a kind of outsider's empathy — and a conscious distance from aggressive long-term representation models.

When I get involved in a real estate project, it is only under very specific conditions:

– The property must not be publicly listed.
– No more than two brokers may be offering it simultaneously.
– I do not participate in bidding competitions.
– Ideally, I receive a short exclusive window (e.g., three weeks) to introduce the property discreetly within my network.
– Further agreements follow only upon serious interest.

I have no desire to lock in properties for long periods. On the contrary, I welcome cooperative chains of commission. Especially with complex or hard-to-place assets, success often involves multiple discreet contacts working together. For me, the goal is not maximum personal profit, but win-win outcomes — especially for sellers and buyers.

Note: All successful mediations are handled confidentially. A project is only taken on after a personal conversation and positive mutual assessment.
